Modern-Aire’s PS-20 chimney style hood is now being built utilizing simulated seamless construction, giving the appearance of a seamless canopy without the huge costs involved of a true seamless hood.   The new seamless style construction is available on all PS-20 hoods that have standard dimensions on the lower portion of the canopy.  The PS-20 is available with a 1200 cfm internal blower which requires only one 10” round duct and comes standard with a 12” wide X 12” deep three sided duct cover which allows for top or rear vent applications.  Compare it to our competition who requires two separate ducts and also requires a much wider duct cover to accommodate the same level of airflow and the choice is obvious.
